Full-Stack Software Development Intern

Remote, CanadaPaid internship, 4 months, flexible start

A paid, four-month internship on Sabia's engineering team. You'll write real code for the Sabia app and take it through review to production.

About Sabia

Sabia shows companies what their AI actually costs and what it actually produces. Every team now runs Claude Code, Codex, Cowork and a dozen other agents. Finance sees the invoice, but nobody can say which work it bought. Sabia connects the bill to the output: the session, the pull request, the Google Doc, the person and the team.

We're technical, and we write the code ourselves. We build with AI agents every day, so we know how much they can write and how little of what they write is checked. Sabia is heading into paid pilots. Whoever joins will help shape the product, and can look at it and say “this is mine now”.

What you'll work on

  • Small features in our Next.js app, from the page to the database query behind it.
  • Connectors that bring in data from tools like Claude Code, Codex and Google Drive.
  • Tests for the code you write.
  • Bug fixes and improvements, often in pairing sessions with our engineers.

What you'll learn

  • How a production web app is built, tested and released.
  • How to work with Postgres, Supabase and Next.js in a real codebase.
  • How to use AI coding agents well, and how to review what they write.

You might be a fit if

  • You're studying computer science, software engineering or a related program, or you've recently graduated. Co-op students are welcome.
  • You've built something with code: a class project, a hackathon entry or a side project.
  • You know some JavaScript or TypeScript. SQL is a bonus.

How we'll hire

  1. A 30-minute call with our team.
  2. A short technical conversation about something you've built, then an offer.
